Law and Society, Crimmigration, Linguistic Justice and Language Rights, Racial and Ethnic Disparities, Access to Justice, Qualitative and Ethnographic Methods.

I am a PhD student in Sociology at Arizona State University. My research examines how linguistic and racial inequalities shape access to justice in the American legal system, with a focus on Spanish-speaking and undocumented communities in Maricopa County, Arizona.

My work sits at the intersection of law and society, crimmigration, and racial/ethnic stratification, employing ethnographic and qualitative methods to understand institutional inequities.
